Skipping Girl Vinegar tour
Fri 30th Jul, 2010 in Local News
Skipping Girl Vinegar hit the Splendour In The Grass stage today – Friday 30th July – but if you’re not at the festival (or a Splendour set simply isn’t enough Skipping Girl for you) the band is touring in September.
The tour will mark the release of a brand new single, Wasted, inspired by a big night out at Melbourne’s famous Corner Hotel. In true indie hobo aesthetic, the single features the band playing a drum kit found in a dumpster, trash cans, and other roadside hard rubbish
The follow up to the band’s 2008 debut album Sift The Noise is currently being recorded and set for release in early 2011.
Skipping Girl Vinegar tour:
Friday 3rd September – Troubadour, Brisbane
Friday 10th September – Fitzroy Hotel, Sydney (Free Show)
Saturday 11th September – Funk N Grooves Festival, Hunter Valley
Saturday 11th September – Raval, Sydney
Saturday 18th September – The Toff In Town, Melbourne
