Crowded House played a few Australian shows earlier in the year, with headline sets at Byron Bay’s Blues and Roots Festival and the West Coast Blues and Roots festival in Fremantle, and now the beloved band has announced a return for a more extensive tour in November.
The November tour marks the first run of Australian concerts for the group since playing a quick run of gigs to warm up before headlining Homebake in 2008.
FasterLouder’s reviewer in Melbourne noted in 2008 that “the magic of Crowded House still lives on as strong as ever” and with the songs from Intriguer – described by FL’s reviewer as “the best album they have given us this century” – adding to the band’s hit laden setlists this is sure to be an amazing tour.
Crowded House tour:
Friday 5th November – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Saturday 6th November – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney
Tuesday 9th November – Convention Centre, Brisbane
Wednesday 10th November – Convention Centre, Brisbane
Saturday 13th November – Peter Lehmanns Wines, Barossa Valley
Sunday 14th November – Sandalford Estate, Swan Valley
Tuesday 16th November – Entrainment Centre, Wollongong
