Linkin Park tour in December

The Linkin Park crew appears to be set to announce their first Australian shows since 2007.
Triple M reports that the band “is coming here in December. They’ll be here right in the middle of Bon Jovi[’s tour]. This will be an arena tour so it will be Rod Laver Arena [in Melbourne].”
The tour is not yet officially announced, but it seems that after wrapping up a run of European shows at London’s O2 Arena on Thursday 11th November the band will make the journey to Australia.
According to the band the tour is “a celebration of sound and vision [with] each live performance is designed to be a transformative multi-media experience, complete with a unique blending of music and art and featuring never-before-seen visual technology.”
The band’s new album A Thousand Suns, co-produced by Rick Rubin , is due out in mid-September .
