The fourteenth band to be confirmed for the Soundwave Festival 2011 lineup is Kylesa.

The group from Savannah, Georgia incorporates elements of crust punk, psychedelic rock, stoner rock and sludge metal into its attack and is currently at work on a fifth album.

Static Tensions, Kylesa’s fourth album was released in 2009 with artwork from John Dyer Baizley from fellow Georgian band Baroness.

With rumours wildly circulating in anticipation of the announcement of the full line up next Thursday 5th August, Kylesa joins The Blackout, Protest the Hero, The Ataris, Trash Talk, All That Remains, Less Than Jake, Veara, There for Tomorrow, A Skylit Drive, Mad Caddies, The Sword, Asking Alexandria and Bayside as one of the few acts officially confirmed to be playing at the 2011 festival.
