Oxford Art Factory 3rdBirthday Party
Mon 12th Jul, 2010 in Local News
The Oxford Art Factory is celebrating its third birthday this August, with a free show featuring some of Sydney’s most exciting indie talent.
The August 20 event will see a host of bands pay tribute to a venue that is fast becoming the lifeblood of Sydney’s indie scene.
Topping the bill will be 2010 breakout success Parades, with a host of companions including Guineafowl, Circle Pit, Traps, Howl and The Joysticks.
OAF is celebrating a brief but remarkable tenure, which has seen the venue host international superstars – the likes of Lady Gaga, Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons and the Dead Weather – as well as supporting Australian acts like Bridezilla, Yves Klein Blue and Philadelphia Grand Jury as they make it big overseas.
The Oxford Art Factory is currently running a petition for extended trading hours and fairer conditions in which to operate.
