Mon 12th Jul, 2010 in Local News
Live in the middle of nowhere and sick of either missing out on the bands you want to see or having to drive hours to check out some fresh local talent? Thankfully, Montpelier, Blame Ringo and Claire Whiting are headed your way.
With two vans, seven iphones with google maps, a bunch of hoodies and other assorted thermals, the local Brisbane bands are heading out on a region tour this winter to provide towns from Newcastle, Narrabri and Armidale with some pop music relief.
Aptly titled the Broken Compass tour, Montpelier, Blame Ringo and Claire Whiting will be hitting the following towns this July and August.
Thursday, July 29th, The Troubadour, Brisbane
Friday, July 30th, The Irish Club, Toowoomba
Saturday, July 31st, The Queensland Hotel, Goondiwindi
Sunday, August 1st, Moree
Monday, August 2nd, The Tourist Hotel, Narrabri
Tuesday, August 3rd, The Regal, Gunnedah
Wednesday, August 4th, Wests Diggers, Tamworth
Thursday, August 5th, The Armidale Club, Armidale
Friday August 6th, Pippi’s At The Point, Newcastle
