Public Enemy tour in December?
Mon 5th Jul, 2010 in Local News
It seems that Australian punters will again be treated to a Summer tour from Chuck D and Flavor Flav, with the tour listing on Public Enemy’s website revealing that the group is about to announce shows in Africa and Australia to close 2010.
The group last visited Australia for New Year’ Eve festivities celebrating the beginning of 2009, playing at several festivals including Origin in Perth and Days Like This in Sydney.
FasterLouder’s reviewer at Days Like This declared that as the band “Pounded through each track of A Nation of Millions, it is obvious that Public Enemy have not let age get the best of them. Indeed, it seems hard to imagine them having ever been more electrifying.”
The 2008/09 tour commemorated the twenty year anniversary of It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, while Public Enemy’s current tour sees the band celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the Fear Of A Black Planet album.
