Clues for next Soundwaveannouncements?

We know that The Blackout, Protest the Hero, The Ataris and Trash Talk are playing at Soundwave next year, but two more acts have given strong indications that they will soon be added to this lineup.

English metalcore band Asking Alexandria announced yesterday on Twitter “AUSTRALIA…WE HAVE AWESOME NEWS ;) KEEP AN EYE AND EAR OUT….”

Asking Alexandria’s new album Reckless and Relentless, the follow up to last year’s Stand Up and Scream is due for release in December, giving punters plenty of time to get acquainted with the new songs before the Soundwave tour kicks off.

As predicted by FasterLouder earlier this week Californian ska crew The Mad Caddies also seem to be playing the festival.

The band twittered overnight to announce “We are excited to announce our return to AUSTRALIA in November. We also will be in Japan this September. Tour dates and Venues will be announced very soon…”

When asked about a possible place on the Soundwave 2011 lineup they explained that they “will be playing Soundwave in Melbourne as well as Mad Caddies only shows.”

Though the Caddies seem a little confused about the timing of the Soundwave festival it seems that the band’s soon to be announced November tour could be quickly followed by a return visit in February next year.

Punters who are unacquainted with the Mad Caddies sound can discover the band’s music on the upcoming greatest hits album Consequential Selections due for release this month.
