Soundwave to drip-feed lineup

For the last month or so Soundwave has been drip-feeding its 2011 line-up, with Welsh hard-core band The Blackout, Canadian progressive metal band Protest The Hero and American pop-punkers The Ataris all confirmed via twitter or the festival’s forum.

The festival announced yesterday that it will continue to announce one band a week via triple j’s punk and hardcore show Short.Fast.Loud, up until the official announcement which is schedule for August.

With rumours running thick and fast about who will headline this year’s event, we have put some odds on the bands we think will be making their way down under for Soundwave 2011
