After the success of last year’s JD Sets which saw local bands given the chance to play gigs with big name Aussie artists including You Am I and Gyroscope , the series returns with a gig at the Espy this July headlined by Wolfmother and Philadelphia Grand Jury.

In the running to be the opening band on the night are five local bands: Sydney’s Kids At Risk and New Navy, Newcastle up-and-comers Here Come The Brids, Perth upstarts The Revolvers and Young Revelry and Melbourne garage-rockers The Smoke.

To vote for which one of these bands you would like to see on the bill head to the JD Set website, where for doing so you will also go in the running to win flights and accommodation to the gig and a meet and greet with Wolfmother.

The JD Set featuring Wolfmother and Philadelphia Grand Jury kicks off on Thursday 29th July at The Espy, Melbourne.
