Bedroom Philosopher tour

Fresh from his own solo tour and a successful stint at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Justin Heazlewood (a.k.a. Bedroom Philosopher) is hitting the road again with a full band in tow.

Dubbed The Awkwardstra, the band is a collection of Melbourne indie royalty featuring members of The Brunettes and Paradise Motel, and will help take Heazlewood’s catchy, intelligent and very funny pop tunes around the country.

The tour is in support of Bedroom Philosopher’s third studio release, Songs From The 86 Tram, a full-blown concept album about Melbourne’s famous tram route.

Touring with a full band also promises explorations of Heazlewood’s more experimental and eclectic musical side.

Support for the East Coast legs will come from Brisbane indie quartet The Boat People.
