Pendulum announce Immersiontour

Drum ‘n bass stadium-fillers Pendulum arrive in Australia in October for a bombastic headline tour. The band is currently on the road in the UK and Europe to put new album Immersion through its paces, with stops at the likes of Wembley Stadium. Big and brash, the album is sure to translate powerfully to the live arena. Our last encounter with Pendulum was at Big Day Out, so this tour is a chance to see the guys on their own terms.

The Pendulum ‘Immersion’ tour visits these venues. Tickets on sale Tuesday 6 July.’

Mon 1 November – Festival Hall, Melbourne [All Ages]
Wed 3 November – The Tivoli, Brisbane [18+]

Saw these guys at BDO and can honestly say I enjoyed them more than anyone else that day, including the Prodigy. Stoked that Brisbane are somehow the only ones with two shows too!

do you reckon these guys would be doing the summer festival circuit this year? I'm supposed to be going away that weekend but trying to decide whether to can it and go to their concert instead

Their new material is definitely a step down, but it's still listenable.

I think it's the electronic drumming or whatever it is, but yeah, their songs can tend to sound a bit the same after a while. Still, between their live performances and Hold Your Colour they're a solid band.
