Enter Shikari tour

British quartet Enter Shikari are again bringing their unique hardcore crossover sound down under, with a series of Australian shows this September.

The band’s unique trance-cum-hardcore package has taken the world by storm, and this is their third stint on our shores after previous visits for Big Day Out and Soundwave.

“Fans expected a show bursting with thrills, giggles and spills, and they were rewarded tenfold,” said FasterLouder’s reviewer at one of their sideshows. “Side-splitting fun to the rhythm of powerful hardcore structures.”

This tour comes on the back of well-received sophomore album Common Dreads, with support from local metalcore upstarts House vs Hurricane.

Enter Shikari tour:
Saturday 18th September – Capitol Bar, Perth
Sunday 19th September – Fowlers Live, Adelaide
Monday 20th September – Hi Fi, Brisbane (U/18)
Tuesday 21st September – Hi Fi, Brisbane (18+)
Thursday 23rd September – UNSW Roundhouse, Sydney

Not too crazy about hvh but will go for shikari, they ruled on the tbs sidewaves.

Having twice visited our shores on board the Big Day Out and Soundwave Festivals respectively, this September sees Britain’s most explosive post- hardcore act Enter Shikari head to Australia for their first ever headline tour!

Boasting a genre-smashing sound that melds punk, hardcore, electronica, dubstep, drum’n’bass and rock into the one frenzied package, Enter Shikari took their native UK by storm with their gold-selling debut, Take To The Skies. Dozens of tours and a couple of hundred thousand record sales later, the ambitious quartet set their sights on the rest of the world, with hugely successful stints in the US – and of course, Australia – further expanding their fiercely loyal fan base.

While so many young bands have dropped the ball with that all-important follow-up record, Enter Shikari’s 2009 sophomore effort Common Dreads was a critical success, with English heavy music bible Kerrang! awarding the album a perfect score!

Joining Enter Shikari will be Melbourne’s most progressive metalcore sextet House VS Hurricane, who of course released their stunning Perspectives album in March of this year, as well as embarking on their own headline trek and appearing at Sydney’s prestigious Come Together Festival.

Don’t miss Enter Shikari when they hit your town this September!
