New Hard-Ons album and tour
Tue 8th Jun, 2010 in Local News
Australia’s most commercially successful independent band, The Hard-Ons are back with a nationwide tour to support their upcoming album – wonderfully entitled Alfalfa Males Once Summer Is Done Conform Or Die.
Alfalfa… stays true to the Sydney trio’s frenetic power-punk traditions, featuring 19 songs in just over 40 minutes, and follows 2007’s heavier Most People Are Nicer Than Us. The Hard-Ons have been described as ‘Motorhead meets the Beach Boys’, which sums up the band’s psych-pop and metal-infused punk sound, honed over a quarter-century of worldwide cult success.
Laced with their unique humour and trademark psychedelic artwork of bassist Ray Ahn, Alfalfa… is released on the 28th of May.
