Gosford’s Coaster Festival is turning three this year, and to help celebrate the occasion it has enlisted the help of some of Australia’s finest bands to get the party started this September.

As previously announced on FasterLouder, hip-hop legends and stoner over lords Cypress Hill are set to head up the third annual Coaster which will take place on Saturday 25th September.

California’s alt-rock/shoegaze masters Silversun Pickups also return for the band’s first Australian tour since the release of the acclaimed Swoon album.

Joining them will be Perth prog-rock favourites Birds Of Tokyo, Sydney electro-rockers Art Vs Science and Australia’s ultimate party band, Bluejuice.

As always at Coaster the local contingent is top-notch, with the gorgeous Cloud Control and Hungry Kids of Hungary ensuring that their will be some splendid indie tunes on display at the festival.
