One of Sydney’s most flamboyant and original bands, Richard In Your Mind will release their second album My Volcano on Saturday 26 June.

Dreamy, layered and eclectic in their sound, the band was originally conceived as a recording project between Richard Cartwright and Conrad Richters in 2006, before quickly building a profile through vibrant live shows around Sydney and more recently fleshing out to become a five-piece affair.

The album is produced by fellow Rice Is Nice labelmate SPOD, who also oversaw the band’s previous release, last year’s blissful Summertime EP.

Richard In Your Mind is currently on an Australia-wide tour supporting Cloud Control and punters can pick up an advance copy of My Volcano at the remaining shows.
