Lowrider album and tour

Having supported the likes of Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera and Lupe Fiasco at home before gaining success across the globe, Adelaide’s Lowrider are returning with a new record – aptly titled Round The World.
The album is a soul/funk odyssey hailing from the ‘city of churches’ via the sounds of a 1920s speakeasy, channeled through the four-piece and with some big names attached. It was mixed by Jason Goldstein, famous for his Grammy-winning work with Jay-Z and Beyonce, and mastered by Dave Kutch (The Roots, Al Green).
Lowrider will embark on an Australian tour in July in support of Round The World, beginning with a hometown celebration before taking their raucous live show along the East coast. Every one of the band’s national tours over the last two years has sold out, so punters should be quick to snap up their ticket to this melting pot of funk, soul and pop.
The album’s first single Here We Go , a stomping soul number featuring the sound of New York’s Chops Horns, is available digitally on May 28.
