Midnight Juggernauts tour
Wed 12th May, 2010 in Local News
With their highly anticpated second album The Crystal Axis due to be released in two weeks, Melbourne synth-rockers Midnight Juggernauts are hitting the road to show off their new tunes.
Earlier this month the trio revealed the art-work and tracklisting for the new album, which was produced by the band themselves and Chris Moore ( he of TV on the Radio and Yeah Yeah Yeahs fame ).
The early release of two singles from the album, This New Technology and Vital Signs, reveals a much more experimental sound for the boys, with New Technology in particular showing off their growing affection for psychedelic jams and deep 70’s grooves.
If the band’s performance at Golden Plains in March was anything to go by, these shows are sure to be a whole lot of party.
Test your vital signs at the following Midnight Juggernauts shows this August:
Thursday 12th August – The Gov, Adelaide
Saturday 14th August – The Capitol, Perth
Thursday 19th August – The Forum, Melbourne
Friday 20th August – The Forum, Sydney
Saturday 21st August – HiFi, Brisbane
