Little Scout announce albumpreview show
Wed 12th May, 2010 in Local News
Little Scout have announced their first ever headline show at The Troubadour in Brisbane on Saturday 19th June. The show will act as a fundraiser for their first full-length release, which will be recorded locally later in 2010 with Scott Bromiley of The John Steel Singers on co-production duties. Little Scout will be treating audiences to a taste of new material which will find its way onto the forthcoming album. The dream-pop quartet is excited about the direction of their new songs and is looking forward to experimenting with new sounds and arrangements in a live setting for the first time.
The band’s 18 month existence has seen them support local and international acts as diverse as Camera Obscura, Jens Lekman, The Middle East, Holly Throsby, Josh Pyke and Philadelphia Grand Jury, while extensively touring the east coast of Australia.
Support on the night comes from their very talented friends Skinny Jean, Monster Monster and a very special solo set from Matthew R Vale of Lion Island. Tickets are available through Oztix
