FasterLouder presents BrokenSocial Scene sideshows

Formed in Toronto in 2002 by Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning, Broken Social Scene has featured an assortment of their very talented musical friends – including Feist and members of Stars and Metric.

With a slightly stripped back line-up of eight members, Broken Social Scene has just released its first record in five years Forgiveness Rock Record again filled cinematic melodies and stories about love and forgiveness.

Broken Social Scene sideshows:
Tuesday 3rd August – The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
Wednesday 4th August, Metro Theatre, Sydney

Tickets on sale Friday 14th May

i'd say stars may be coming as amy is doing the broken social scene tour, and they have a new record in a month so kind of makes sense.

Is Sydney still not sold out?

I have to wait 'til after my ear doctor appointment next Friday before I can commit to going.
It's entirely possible he may say "Anymore live music and you'll go deaf".

they are playing two encores also, a lot of you forgot it in people/ forgiveness rock but little of self titled i guess they did almost break up after that record, but would love to hear major label debut and swimmers

bearhug were good at times but seriously i thought i was watching a pre balding pavement at times, while broken social scene were great the lack of female songs was dissapointing, also to dynamite i was up the front and no rape occured i was next to the crazy asian girls ;)
