Regurgitator tour
Thu 6th May, 2010 in Local News
After five years in Hong Kong, Regurgitator leadman Quan Yeomans joined recent the band’s bassist, and recent resident of Turkey and Berlin, Ben Ely in Melbourne.
With drummer Peter Kostic, Ely and Yeomans are currently setting up “some studios in rooms somewhere in the central city precinct” to work on the band’s seventh album.
As well as working on the new record, the band will be touring in May and June including shows at two very special tenth birthday celebrations.
In May Regurgitator will be on hand to help Brisbane’s Powerhouse celebrate its tenth birthday, on a bill that also includes Last Dinosaurs, Tripod, Charlie Pickering and an appearance from Bananas in Pyjamas for the kids (and disorientated Gurge fans).
The band will also be at the Annandale to celebrate the tenth year of the Rule brothers’ rule of the beloved venue – a celebration which will also see Dallas Crane playing the venue.
The band’s new hometown doesn’t miss out, with a Sunday night show at the East Brunswick Club show planned for the night after the Annandale gig.
Regurgitator tour:
Sunday 16th May – Powerhouse, Brisbane
Saturday 3rd July – Annandale Hotel, Sydney
Sunday 4th July – East Brunswick Club, Melbourne
