Grizzly Bear sideshows

With a spot on the massive Splendour In The Grass line-up locked in, Grizzly Bear will also play sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold proclaimed Grizzly Bear’s last album Veckatimest “the best record of the 00s” and FasterLouder’s review saw few reasons to disagree.
FasterLouder’s reviewers were also generous with praise for the band’s live shows earlier in the year declaring that “Grizzly Bear massage the soul with hypnotic melodies and operatic sensibilities.”
The size of the venues for the Splendour sideshows proves that Grizzly Bear’s fan base has received a healthy boost since playing at the Falls, Sunset Sounds and Southbound festivals in summer.
The acclaimed indie rockers – and recent lottery ad soundtrackers – step up from playing at the Sydney Festival bar, Fremantle’s Fly by Night, and the Corner Hotel in Melbourne to take on the larger Palais and Enmore theatres in July.
Grizzly Bear sideshows:
Sunday 25th July – Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Tuesday 27th July – Palais Theatre, Melbourne
Tickets go on sale Tuesday 4th May
