Finn Brothers & Mercury RevJoin Musical Forces

Last year saw New Zealand songwriting legends Neil and Tim Finn (of Split Enz and Crowded House fame) perform together for the first time in ten years, under the moniker of The Finn Brothers. This was met with a huge public response, with the duo selling out three Sydney and two Melbourne shows. The tour was such an acclaimed affair that the brothers have stayed on the road and will be returning to Australia for a string of dates. With them they bring critically acclaimed US avant-popsters Mercury Rev, touring on the back of their latest album The Secret Migration. Both bands will also be playing Byron Bay’s Splendour In The Grass festival, but after the controversy that has surrounded the sell-out of the festival and the lack of side shows in some capital cities, this tour will no doubt be met with delight from music lovers around the country. Expect to hear songs from Split Enz, Crowded House and the Finn Brothers album of last year, Everyone Is Here. Sydney Opera House – July 15th
Tickets go on sale Friday June 3
Perth – Burswood Theatre – July 19th
Brisbane Convention Centre – July 22nd
Melbourne – Hamer Hall – July 25th
