The Holidays head out
Wed 28th Apr, 2010 in Local News
It has been a while between drinks for Sydney lads The Holidays, but after a few months hidden away in a studio they are back with a brand new single and national tour to boot.
The new track Golden Sky signals a change in direction for the quartet, who has moved away from the simpler indie tunes of the past to explore a noisy more adventurous pop sound.
If Golden Sky is anything to go by then fans are in for a treat when The Holidays finally release their debut album later this year. Self produced and mixed by Tony Espie (Midnight Juggernauts), the LP is said to be chock full of ‘electro-tropical’ dance floor anthems.
Get tropical with The Holidays at the following shows this June:
Thursday 27th May – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Friday 4th June – Cubbyhole, Brisbane
Saturday 12th June – The John Curtain Bandroom, Melbourne.
