Musical Muppets Tribute To JimHenson

In one of the more pleasantly ridiculous announcements of the year, over a dozen Melbourne musicians will pay tribute to Jim Henson with a spectacular night of Muppet anthems at the Thornbury Theatre.

20 years after the legendary puppeteer’s passing, Northcote luminaries Evelyn Morris ( Pikelet ) and Jessica Says as well as Eagle and Worm and Super Wild Horses will be among a raft of acts celebrating Henson’s finest work.

The show will also involve the assistance of children from Thornbury Primary, with proceeds going towards an artist in residence program for the school.

The not to be missed spectacle takes place on Sunday, May 16. The night’s rather amusing schedule is below.
