Dappled Cities, return from overseas in June for the home leg of their current world tour with a national series of special headline shows.

Since their gold bodysuited Laneway Festival appearances earlier this year, the band has spent five months of touring across the United States, the UK, Europe and Asia.

Returning home in June with the aptly titled the ‘Winter Tour’, these will be the last Australian shows for Dappled Cities in 2010.

Following the Australian dates the band is set to return play a series of festival dates across Europe before returning to Los Angeles to complete work on a new album.

Punters can expect to hear songs from all three Dappled albums, with a few new songs thrown into the mix, and as a special treat a number of shows on the tour will be filmed for release as a DVD later this year.

The glorious pop of Brisbane’s John Steele Singers will play support for the entire tour with Melbourne’s Otouto and Adelaide’s Fire! Santa Rosa Fire! joining the troupe for select dates.

For a limited time punters also have the chance to order deluxe ticket packages to the shows which include a beautiful US release only double vinyl version of the Zounds album and tee-shirts.
