Mon 23rd May, 2005 in Local News
After 15 years as a renowned bass player, joining such acts as Beasts of Bourbon, Spencer Jones and the Last Gasp, Kim Salmon and the Surrealists, and Rowland S. Howard, and more recently a collaboration with members of The Devastations (the self-titled Voyeurs album), Brian Henry Hooper has embarked upon his first solo project.
His debut album, entitled Lemon Lime and Bitter, has been recorded and will be released later this year through Bang Records. The collection of songs touches upon a variety of topics such as love, death, anger and insanity and illustrates his abilities as an impacting and confronting singer/songwriter.
Brian Henry Hooper will be appearing at Rics Bar in August for two stirring live shows, joining SixFtHick on Friday 5 August and Gentle Ben & His Sensitive Side on Saturday 6 August.
