Sugar Army WA Tour
Mon 5th Apr, 2010 in Local News
Sugar Army have announced a final WA tour before they begin work on their next album.
Nine months after the release of their debut LP The Parallels Amongst Ourselves, Sugar Army are riding high on their success. Among other critical acclaim, they scored album of the week spots in street press and radio stations around the country, they opened the main stage at all the Big Days Out, had some attention from Channel[V] more single releases, a national tour and a whole lot of national love. Our boys are doing good.
Of course, they haven’t forgotten where it all started, so they’re doing one last hometown tour before they start work on the next album, and they intend to use their WA fans as a sounding board for their new material. It’s called In Control but they promise it won’t be predictable, “This will be enigmatic and special”
Tickets will go on sale for the July shows on Thursday 15 April, -and the venues are intimate, so they will sell out fast. Here’s the dates:
Thursday 1st July – Indi Bar, Scarborough
Friday 2nd July – Prince Of Wales, Bunbury
Saturday 3rd July – Amplifier Bar, Perth
Sunday 4th July – Mojo’s, Fremantle
