Mumford confirm return shows

Last time they were in Australia Mumford and Sons attracted massive crowds at the Laneway Festival and sold out both Sydney showcases in the time it takes to tune a banjo string.

A quick return was always very likely, and strongly rumoured but finally the folk sensations have confirmed a return tour – landing suspiciously close to Splendour In The Grass.

Way back in Febuary, FasterLouder’s review of the band’s Sydney sideshow was full of praise for the band, describing the evening as an absolute joy

You can get your Mumford on at the following shows:

July 22nd – Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
July 28th – The Palace, Melbourne
August 3rd – The Enmore, Sydney

Tickets go on sale April 8.

Saw them at Laneway this year, and loved every second of it. Album has been on high-rotation in the Loomis Lair, and this will definitely be one to consider...but that budget has been bruised and battered this season!

enmore is probably about as big as you'd want to go for mumford. they filled the room with sound at oaf, and could probably manage it at the enmore, but i don't think they could pull it off at a venue the size of hordern

Thank god I was able to see them at oaf before the 'omg little lion man touches my souuuulllll. <3 <3 <3 mumford & sons 4ever' tweens come in and ruin all the fun.

Nevertheless I shall be attending this gig and am expecting to enjoy it quite a great deal! But not expecting as amazing of a show as their oaf show ;) (3rd feb one).

Still, good on 'em for their achievements thus far. Here's hoping they don't let it go to their heads and release a clothing label with overpriced shit.

That's good to hear they put on an excellent show, because I'll be seeing them 3 times in the next few months supporting other bands. I'll have to check out some of their songs before then.
