Boys Boys Boys! have finally created a video for their much loved track, Ticky Ticky Boom so they’re having a launch party at the Rosemount on 9 April.

The clip was directed by Ben Young who won young filmmaker of the year in 2005, his pitch? a sad and lonely man dances solo in his living room to Ticky Ticky Boom when all of a sudden his dreams come true as lead singer Jerico Wallace, synchronised dancers, Boys Boys Boys! and a hundred party goers crash his house culminating in a massive party popper-disco ball-coloured streamer frenzy. Clearly he’s on Boysx3’s wavelength.

Joining the party will be The Tigers’ side project Sabre Tooth Tigers, a ramshackle goon-rock three-piece who shrug off any sense of musical pretension in an unholy invocation of all that is dangerous, sexy and sweaty about rock’n’roll.

Joining them under the disco ball will also be Boys’ favourite divas Brash and Sassy and Simone and Girlfunkle, who will be premiering their new video clip, with it’s simple but amazing concept: guy gets covered in food by two hot babes.

In keeping with the whole film theme, there will be screenings from local filmmakers including WASA winners Ben Young, Pierce Davison, Vincenzo Perrella and Dan Osborn.
