Late last year Sydney band Danimals won the TED LAB project and were flown to New York to collaborate with Mark Ronson and an enviable list of other stars.
The result of the trip is the track Fox featuring Ronson, John Taylor of Duran Duran, Phantom Planet’s Alex Greenwald and Santigold.
The song was mixed by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek and is available now as a free download.
For Danimals leader Jonti Danilewitz the recording was “liking winning the lottery for musicians. In fact, non musicians would of had their minds blown by the experience too! Every place, person, event and piece of music written within those two weeks will forever live in the corridors of my mind”.
