The West Coast Blues and Roots Festival has a fringe this year, full of local talent billed to get you in the mood for Sunday’s main event.
All week long you can immerse yourself in the Freo spirit starting on Monday through to Thursday with the heats and final for the Breakthrough to Blues and Roots competition; Then on Friday, depending on what takes your fancy, you can pack a picnic and head to the Freo Arts Centre for the opening party or over to the Xwray café for the Stripped Bare acoustic gig. Then rock up to Pioneer Park on festival day from 10-3 to be entertained with free music all day. Here’s the lists:
