Mathcore trailblazers The Dillinger Escape Plan are set to bring their frenzied live show to Australia this May.

Since releasing their ground-breaking debut alum Calculating Infinity in 1999, the New Jersey five-piece has had a roller-coaster ride of a decade, which saw them lose a vocalist, befriend Mike Patton and support some of metals biggest names.

With all their line-up woes well behind them , the band has finally released their fourth album Option Paralysis songs from which they will be playing to Aussie fans for the first time ever come May.

You can get your scream on at The Dillinger Escape Plan supported by Maylene And The Sons of Disaster this May , proudly presented by FasterLouder:

Sunday 16th May -Perth, The Capitol – 18+
Tuesday 18th May – Adelaide, Fowlers Live – All Ages
Wednesday 19th May – Melbourne, Palace Theatre – 18+
Friday 21th May – Sydney, Metro Theatre – All Ages
Sunday 23rd May – Brisbane, The Hi-Fi – 18+

can't wait. i've seen dep 3 times live now, and they just keep getting better and better and crazier.... i miss gill sharone, but billy is definately a good replacement. option paralisys is rocking my socks

at the end of the day, dep has been a revolving door of band members. i like the later stuff.... i like how miss machine was a good introduction to greg, that ire works was a much more 'rounded' album, and that option paralysis goes in a different direction.... ben's got it going on....

Its all good man--Calculating Infinity is still one of the best math/hardcore/experimental albums going around. Its insane.
Miss Machine isnt too bad. Ire Works is a cracker.

Irony is a dead scene is insane.

Calculating Infinityis a great hardcore/tech record. Chaotic pretty much all the way through.

Miss Machine is good too. But I rate Ire Works a little higher.

Get Ire Works. It's a pretty good summary. And a good place to start. Then trace back to the others. Oh and get the new one Option Paralysis. Its hectic.
