Last October, Nick Oliveri kicked off his solo Death Acoustic tour in Australia, before heading to Europe and the USA. Now he is set to return in late March for three Australian shows to complete his tour of the album.
As FasterLouder’s reviewer in Melbourne noted last October “What is there to say about Nick Oliveri that hasn’t already been said? The party-animal of rock has lent his multi-instrumental skills to such influential acts as Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Dwarves, not to mention a plethora of other cameos and side projects over the years, including his own brain-child – Mondo Generator. His Death Acoustic set promised to offer something from all of these bands, and more, and showcases just how multi-talented the goateed rock-god is.”
In the country for some recording and pre-production work for the forthcoming Mondo Generator release, Oliveri will take some time out to play select shows in Sydney, Wollongong and Melbourne.
