Lost Weekend solo shows
Wed 3rd Mar, 2010 in Local News
With news of The Lost Weekend festival’s cancellation still a touchy subject for many, another string of solo shows has been announced to help ease the grief.
Already booked to play at APT Up Late this Friday, Beijing electronic group New Pants have announced they will play Toowomba Thursday 4th and a second gig at Rosie’s (Edward St) on Sunday March 7. Joining New Pants for the Rosie’s gig is an eclectic list of bands including Monotonix, DZ, Ye Denver Birds, Hawnay Troof and more to be announced.
In addition to their Rosie’s gig with New Pants on Sunday, the solo project of Californian Vice Cooler, Hawnay Troof, will play The Cubby Hole on Saturday March 6. Guests to be announced.
Finally, in a completely unrelated tour to those listed above, Atlanta four-piece Nashville Pussy will play alongside Gentle Ben & his Sensitive Side, The Narhwals and The Medicine Show at The Zoo, Saturday March 6th.
