On the last day of summer – Sunday 28 February – Henry Wagons [pictured], Ned Collette and Wirewalker, Crayon Fields and Beaches treat Melbourne to a free show between 1 pm and 8pm at the National Gallery of Victoria on St Kilda Road.
The gallery can’t allow eskies or BYO alcohol, but you can bring your own picnic rug and lunch and there’s plenty of tasty food and alcohol available to purchase. If it rains, the performances will be moved into the Great Hall.
Triple R will be broadcasting live on site from 2pm to 4pm for JVG Radio Method and the amazing, and unsettling, exhibition of Ron Mueck’s hyper-real sculptures will be open until 9pm.
