It has been a hot and heavy week of Soundwaving already, with a flurry of sideshows following the Sydney and Brisbane events.

The festival itself was ruled by one band, Faith No More, whose galvanising headline slot saw Mike Patton in mesmerising form. Jane’s Addiction swaggered like it was the early ‘90s, while Gallows, Sunny Day Real Estate and The Aquabats were afternoon highlights. You can read all about it in the event reviews below.

The Sidewaves have also been relentless, making for some unusually exciting school nights. Faith No More had a sold-out Hordern Pavilion in awe, while down in Melbourne Paramore and Placebo thrilled their devotees.
