Starry Nights with Van Gogh,Clare Bowditch and Tim Rogers

In celebration of Masterpieces from Paris gracing the halls of the National Gallery of Australia, the NGA will be hosting Starry Nights for four nights only, this March.

Dubbed ‘an artful experience, Starry Nights signifies the coming together of great live music, culture and the main attraction – art, with exclusive late-night viewing and guided tours of Masterpieces from Paris.

Renée Geyer will be launching the event on Friday 5 March, with iconic Aussies; The Black Sorrows, Clare Bowditch Trio and Tim Rogers Band also taking to the stage over the four nights.

The evening starts at 5.30pm with gallery performances from the likes of Liam Budge Trio and Lady’s Mantle, with exhibition tours running every 30 minutes. The gallery shop will also be open for browsing and buying all evening.

Starry Night headline acts will commence at 9pm, followed by live DJs at the Pol Rogers Champagne Bar in the picturesque Sculpture Garden, where gourmet food and beverages are available right up until 11pm.

If you haven’t ventured out to see Masterpieces from Paris, for music lovers – we couldn’t think of a better reason to get you off the couch and imersed in fine art and fine tunes.
