The Lost Weekend – originally planned as a music festival with camping at Ivory Rocks Peak Crossing – is moving to Brisbane Riverstage and Botanical Gardens.

The lineup for The Lost Weekend remains intact – including Dinosaur Jr, Nashville Pussy and Tumbleweed, but with the move comes a change of dates and new access for under 18s.

The festival will now be held over 3 stages on Saturday 6 March and Sunday 7 March and will not have camping.

From Monday 8 February three ticket types will be on sale:
Two days – $150 +booking fees
Saturday only – $100 +booking fees
Sunday only – $75 +booking fees.

All current tickets are valid for the new venue.  The promoter will contact all existing ticket holders will be contacted to explain their ticketing and refund options.

Damn shame. I was looking forward to some good ole fashioned music festival camping. Truth be told, I'm a shocking camper. I'm the person that shows up with 6 tubes of toothpaste, 40 pairs of socks and 1 change of clothes. I'm going to throw this out there but I really like the Riverstage/Gardens set up with 3 stages. I think trying to fit 5 stages in that space is too ambitious and causes all kinds of nightmares but the space perfectly suits 3 stages.
