With the first show having sold out in three minutes, Soundwave Festival has delivered Faith No More fans an epic gift. The reunited legends will now do a second night at Melbourne’s Festival Hall.

This show sees Faith No More joining the AFI and Gallows Sidewave – so if you already have a ticket to that, you’re very lucky. Organisers are calling it “the greatest Soundwave sideshow of all time”, and we have to agree.

Wednesday 24 February – Melbourne, Festival Hall [With AFI And Gallows]

Tickets on sale Friday 5 February, 9am. PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED TICKETS FOR AFI AND GALLOWS SHOWS WILL STILL BE VALID FOR THIS SHOW.

If I was attending this show, which i definitely would be if I was a Melbourne dweller, i'd be really fucking pissed off if AFI got bumped from headliner, and one would assume Gallows set may be shortened.
Shit idea.

Regardless of how you feel about any of the bands involved, I think if you pay to see a headlining show of a band, that band should headline...

afi/gallows tickets were $65 and they weren't selling very well at all (i'm basing that on the fact ga tickets were available ages after they went on sale). the remaining tickets on sale tomorrow are at definitely fnm prices - $98.

yeah it's definately a dreamboat week, going from last year where it was only gonna be shows in europe and the uk to fnm three days in a row.

who were your big highlights at soundwave, anything i should definately keep an eye out for apart from the obvious.
