In April, Paul Dempsey will set out on the – œBurning Leaves’ tour – his only Australian headline outing for 2010. FasterLouder is proud indeed to be coming along for the ride.
This new run of dates will again see Dempsey and his band recreate songs from Everything Is True, as well as some choice covers and Something For Kate songs. As fans will know, the tour takes its name from the first line of album opener Bats, which is getting a single release on 26 February. After he’s down the national rounds, the man is relocating to New York for the rest of the year.
Adding extra enticement is Dan Kelly’s Dream Band in the support slot. The talented troubadour is bringing members of Ground Components, Augie March and “surprises” to help him out.
