Cult icons Echo & The Bunnymen will no longer be appearing at the Brisbane leg of Laneway Festival this Friday night. – œUnforeseen circumstances’ have forced the cancellation, but there’s some serious silver lining. Fresh from triumphant shows in Melbourne and Sydney, The Dirty Three will now join the party in Brisbane.

Echo & The Bunnymen’s scheduled sideshow at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre tonight is now moved to Tuesday 2 February at the Metro Theatre. From Laneway: “Patrons holding tickets for the Enmore Theatre show will be granted access with their current tickets, those requiring a refund can arrange this by contacting their point of purchase.” Tickets are still on sale for the new date.
