Sat 23rd Jan, 2010 in Local News
In its second year, the annual Friends of Folk Festival aims to raise funds for the Royal Childrens Hospital here in Brisbane through a fun and engaging night of folk music, arts and frivolity.
Featuring: Asa Broomhall, Ballpark Music, Dagwood Stevens, Plastic Wood, Scotty Russell, Jenifer Boyce and Mark Adams. the Friends of Folk Festival combines the energy and variety of a music festival with the intimate feel of a concert. There will be non-stop music from 7pm as well as short films, food & drink, EP/single launches, a charity CD and plenty of charity auctions.
All ticket proceeds will be going to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
