Placebo have announced that they will be doing a Soundwave Sidewade in Perth at Metro City this year.

It’s been just on six years since we’ve seen Placebo in Perth and they’ve released four albums since then, which means we’ve a lot of catching up to do.

After 15 years, six releases, and 10 million albums sold, the success and the messiness that ensued hasn’t broken the trio, it’s just given them something new to write about.

With last year’s hugely successful release of Battle for the Sun they’ve cleaned up again, and while we like them a little dishevelled, don’t they scrub up well?

They’ll be on stage at Metro City on March 2, and tickets are on sale now.
