True to reports, metal titans Machine Head will return to Australia in late-March, backed by Hatebreed, Bleeding Through and Emmure. The quadruple-bill is set to knock over Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in the space of a week.
This will be Machine Head’s chance to carry headline honours again, after taking second-billing to Slipknot back in 2008. “Fans practically destroyed themselves in brutal mosh and circle-pits to Imperium, Beautiful Mourning and Old,” our Perth reviewer wrote of their very warm warm-up set.
The 2010 – œBlack Procession’ tour is sure to be just as heavy-hitting, particularly with the unremitting support cast in tow.
Follow the – œBlack Procession’ to the following venues in March. Tickets on sale Friday 29 January.
Monday 22 March – Perth, Metro City [18+]
Wednesday 24 March – Adelaide, Thebarton Theatre
Thursday 25 March – Melbourne, Festival Hall
Saturday 27 March – Brisbane, The Riverstage
Sunday 28 March – Sydney, Luna Park Big Top
