The Dead Weather add extraMelbourne date
Tue 19th Jan, 2010 in Local News
The all-star Dead Weather have added an extra Melbourne date to their March tour.
With their fierce debut album Horehound, The Dead Weather’s all star line up featuring Alison Mosshart of The Kills, Jack White of The White Stripes, Raconteur Jack Lawrence on bass and Dean Fertita from Queens of the Stone Age on guitar has the music press gushing. The NME recently described their live show as “the kind of loose and licentious rock’n’roll gig that feels like it could go anywhere from song to song.”
The Melbourne concert on Friday 19 March has sold out, but Melbourne’s punters have an extra chance to catch the band live with a second show added on Saturday 20 March at the Forum.
New Zealand punks Street Chant will be in support at all shows.
