With St Jerome’s Laneway Festival firing into life next week, a few finishing touches have been made to the 2010 travelling party.
While tickets are long gone for the Sydney and Melbourne legs, those lucky attendees now have the added bonus of Scotland’s Frightened Rabbit. The three-piece thoroughly impressed on its Australian jaunt last summer, and there’s a follow-up to Midnight Organ Fight on the way. Another late addition (this time for all cities) is Brooklyn duo Black Gold, who will also open the Echo & The Bunnymen sideshows.
Last but not least, triplejunearthed.com has found a promising unsigned band in each city to make their Laneway debut. The chosen ones are The Salvadors in Adelaide, The Frowning Clouds in Melbourne, Fergus Brown in Sydney, Young Revelry in Perth and Comic Sans in Brisbane.
