In the least depressing news of the day, The Drones have announced they will be playing four intimate shows in Melbourne and Sydney next month.

The short run of dates, which will see them play gigs at The Annandale and The East Brunswick Club, are also scheduled to be filmed and made into a new DVD for the band.

This may be your last chance to catch The Drones for some time, as they are planning to head back into the studio in April to record the follow up to their stunning fourth album Havilah.
