Southern rockers Shinedown will play two intimate sideshows whilst in town for Soundwave this February.

Shinedown has just released its third album The Sound Of Madness which lead singer Brent Smith described as the band’s boldest statement yet. “With this album it was time to just go over the top, literally go above and beyond what a human being thinks they’re capable of recording.”

The album spawned the track Second Chance which has since gone on to be the band’s most commercially successful single and helped land them a spot on the Download Festival bill, alongside Soundwave headliners Faith No More.

Monday 22 February – Gaelic Club, Sydney
Wednesday 24 February – Gershwin Room, Melbourne
