Lostprophets land in March
Mon 11th Jan, 2010 in Local News
Welsh heavy-hitters Lostprophets will bring their surging anthems to Australia in March for three East Coast shows. The tour comes closely after the release of the band’s fourth album The Betrayed on 29 January.
The new record has been a long time coming for fans, following 2006’s blockbusting Liberation Transmission. Despite a painful gestation period, its follow-up looks to be worth the wait. Q magazine in the UK concluded: “For a – œfuck you’ record, The Betrayed is impressively, chillingly controlled.” Expect powerhouse performances here in March.
Lostprophets play the following shows on their 2010 tour. Tickets on sale Thursday 21 January.
Saturday 27 March – Sydney, UNSW Roundhouse [Licensed All Ages]
Sunday 28 March – Melbourne, Billboard The Venue [18+]
Tuesday 30 March – Brisbane, The Tivoli [All Ages]
